I went in the other room for a few minutes & when I came back I found them like this... I pray they always have this bond...

Baby Lasik...

so my son Malachi broke both pairs of glasses we bought him 4 months ago..... beyond repair... :-(  I have now dropped $200 on glasses for that boy as I went to the store and bought 2 NEW pairs today.... seriously... I think it would be cheaper to have baby Lasik!!!

While we were waiting Silas and I tried on glasses....

It's just not fair....

I swear I have one of the most well behaved babies, but sometimes........

You're my Best Friend...

Silas and Jericho are the best of friends.... they have been since before Jericho was even born.... Silas made sure that we had the right things for the baby (in his mind) and that he kissed and hugged my belly every night and several times during the day... when he would talk to my belly Jericho would go crazy... now that he's here anytime that Silas is sad Jericho is too.... I'm so glad they love each other so much...

The Music of My Life

"Mom, can I play the _______" (insert "piano, organ, drums, guitar, violin" into the _____) is a very common question in my house... and typically the answer is "YES!!"  My kids have no special training, but they love to make music... especially Silas who is already showing some raw talent.... I would be totally fine with them showing interest in taking up an instrument... we could all use a little music in our lives!!

So I was going through some old photos last night and found this one..... I compared it to a pic of Jericho from a few days ago and WOW... he's so my son lol... Joe said "You were adorable... but Jericho is a little cuter than you were ;-)"  I said "Of course he is... he has a little bit of you mixed in... <3"

Journey to the Perfect Picture...

Have you ever tried to take the perfect picture of your kids?  I did that this weekend... the light outside was PERFECT for capturing them and since having #4 I've been wanting to do the 4 heads touching thing.... the problem is getting all 4 of your babies to take 1 good picture.... let's face it... it's virtually impossible!!  Plus they don't want to keep taking pictures... they're young... adventurous... they have places to go and messes to make... ultimately you just settle for best.... here's my latest "Perfect Picture" Adventure:
